CONFIRMATION JOURNEY

Confirmation for teens at St. Peter is a journey.

It's your chance to say YES to God, YES to faith, YES to Church.

The Sacrament of Confirmation enriches the baptized with the strength of the Holy Spirit so that they can better witness to Christ in word and deed (Catechism of the Catholic Church [CCC], no. 1285).

How do you know if you are ready to make this journey
at this critical point in your life?

  • You are in Grades 8 through 11, have been baptized and received Holy Communion

  • You attend Mass every Sunday, or the Saturday Vigil

  • You desire to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation and are ready to commit fully to the faith journey

  • You have someone you admire for their faith who can help you grow closer to Christ and will be your sponsor

  • Your parent is willing to supervise your preparation which takes place through online learning, and will bring you to Mass and in person monthly meetings if you do not drive
