SOUPER BOWL OF CARING
In 1990, Souper Bowl of Caring began with a simple prayer from a single youth group:
“Lord, even as we enjoy the Super Bowl football game, help us be mindful of those without a bowl of soup to eat.”
Since then, more than $160 million has been generated for local charities across the country through Souper Bowl of Caring.
On February 6 & 7 members of our Confirmation I program and Lifeteen Youth Ministry will be at the main entrance to the Church after each Mass with soup pots. We ask that you share in God’s love for our neighbors in need and give generously.
All donations collected will be shared between our 2021 Souper Bowl of Caring Charities of Choice:
St Peter Food for Families, El Sol Neighborhood Resource Center and St Peter Mission Trip.
