Deacon Don Battiston graduated from Marianapolis Prep School, Georgetown University and St. Thomas Seminary.

 

He was ordained to the Diaconate in 1976 for the Archdioce

se of Hartford.  Deacon Don assists the parish on week-ends; however, his primary ministry is with the Diocesan Office of Prison Ministry as the Catholic Chaplain at a maximum security State prison in our diocese.

 

He and his wife Pam have 5 children and 17 grandchildren.
