Rev. Jean W. Boulin was born in Haiti. He attended St. John Vianney Seminary in Miami, Florida.
Following that he moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, where he attended Notre Dame Seminary. Fr Jean was ordained a deacon in 2003 and was involved in both the Spanish and English communities in Indiantown.
In May 2004 he was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Palm Beach and was assigned to St. Joseph Parish in Stuart. Subsequently was assigned to St. Helen Parish in Vero Beach. After two years he elected to improve his knowledge of Spanish by studying in Mexico and then assumed responsibility for the Spanish ministry at St. Helen’s where he served until 2012. After St. Helen Fr Jean served at St. Ann Parish in West Palm Beach where he ministered to the Haitian, English and Spanish communities.
I like God’s humor. He called me. I assumed that my call was for Haiti. After wrestling with that, I find myself serving in two languages that are not native to me. I have learned to follow Him.
