I was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala and immigrated to the United Stated when I was 6 years old and grew up in Maryland. I graduated as a computer programmer and have been in the computer field for over 30 years. I married my beautiful wife Rosa and we have three amazing kids Ashley 29, Edward 25 and Edwin Jr. 22.
We moved to Tequesta Florida in 1997 when our youngest was only 6 months old and attended St. Jude parish there. In May of 2001 we moved into Jupiter and began attending St. Peter Church in 2003. We slowly got more and more involved with the Spanish ministry as we realized the need to try and bring the English and Spanish speaking communities together as one people worshiping the same Jesus Christ.
Our service to St. Peter eventually led me to be called by our Lord through Father Don and the Guadalupan Sisters of the Holy Spirit. After spending 2 years of much discernment and prayer I entered St. Vincent DePaul Regional Seminary for Theological Studies and graduated in April 2019. I have served as Lector, Eucharistic Minister, Sacristan, member of the Spanish Grupo Base, teach Pre Baptism classes and also coordinate the scheduling of our 5:30 daily mass servers and many other ministries which eventually led me to now serve you as an Ordained Permanent Deacon here at St. Peter.
